Focus and scope. Baltic Journal of Sport and Health Sciences publishes research articles in the following areas: Social Sciences (Physical Education, Sports Coaching, Sports Pedagogy, Sports Psychology, Sports Sociology, Research Methods in Sports, Sports Management, Recreation and Tourism), Biomedical and Health Sciences (Coaching Science, Sports Physiology, Motor Control and Learning, Sports Biochemistry, Sports Medicine, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, Physical Activity and Health, Sports Biomechanics, Adapted Physical Activity) and Humanities (Sports History, Sports Philosophy, Sports Law, Sports Terminology). The issues contain editorials, reviews of recent advances, original scientific articles, case studies.

The journal is published four times a year (March, June, September and December).

Languages. The journal accepts articles in English.

Peer-review. All papers undergo the regular double-blind review process by at least two experts in the field selected by the Editorial Board.

Journal policy. The journal provides its policy, which include detailed information about submission, editorial and publishing processes, and guidelines for authors and reviewers. All parties are introduced with their rights and responsibilities to ensure smooth and ethical publishing process.

Fees and Charges. The journal does not charge article processing charges (APC) or submission charges.

Open Access policy. The journal is an open access journal. All content is freely available without charge to users or their institutions. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission of the publisher or the author. Articles published in the journal are distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license. Further distribution of this work must maintain attribution to the author(s) and the published paper’s title, journal citation, and DOI.

Copyright. The authors agree to the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) agreement under which the paper in the Journal is licensed, and grants Lithuanian Sports University permission to publish the unpublished and original manuscript and all associated supplemental material. An author keeps all copyright rights.
